If you read The Haj by Leon Uris you'll learn that the Israelis wanted to offer their great prosperity to the people already there and live together in peace. You go your way, I'll go mine, we'll share the prosperity. Saudi Arabia and Jordan stirred the shit by forming a pan-Arab pact to expel all of the Palestinian refuges and to prevent them from entering their borders. The Palestinians, historically nomadic, would have been happy to stay in Egypt or wherever. So, Egypt, Jordan, Saudi, if you call these people your Arab brothers, show the world just how you treat brothers and we'll have an end to the Middle East problem in a few months. I am not speaking out of a pro-Israel agenda, I'm just pro putting your hospitality where your mouth is. And I'd like the full history of this mess to be clear to all. This area is very intimate to me because I spend a lot of time there.
