Maharishi Marma Therapy
To Become Available Again
Marma Therapy was introduce around 1989 by Maharishi as yet another approach to
enhancing personal evolution by strengthening the mind/body connection. It was
put on hold when Maharishi asked where were the references in the Vedic
Literature that supported this approach as an authentic Vedic approach to
health. At that time, very little was known, so Maharishi stopped the promotion
of this therapy until it developed enough.
Dr Ernst Schrott has since then been working quietly on this therapy and
researching the supporting knowledge in the Vedic texts. The roll-out of this
revived knowledge will first be in training courses for health professionals
who will apply this approach in clinics. Get a taste of what's to come in these

Maharishi Marma Therapy for Health Professionals
26 - 29 April 2018 at MERU, Holland
This seminar introduces the origin and range of Maharishi Marma Therapy, and
gives practical training to locate, experience, and palpate the Marmas.
Participants will also learn treatment protocols for common disorders.
Seminar I, 26 - 29 April 2018
The seminar will be conducted by Dr Ernst Schrott, the
new co-director of the Department of Ayurvedic Massage Therapy (Kalari and
Marma Therapy) of the Maharishi College of Perfect Health International1.
Based on the knowledge of Marma Therapy as
described in the ancient Ayurvedic texts, and on the profound principles which
Maharishi Mahesh Yogi laid down in his Maharishi Vedic Science, Maharishi Marma
Therapy, the Sukshma Marma® Concept, was developed by Dr Schrott after many
years of study and research, supplemented by practical and clinical experience
and oral Marma traditions.
The Marmas are areas at the junction between different structures of the body,
and between their subtle and gross expressions. They function as a kind of
switchboard to direct the flow of energy, Prana, to where it is needed in the
body.
Maharishi Marma Therapy is Consciousness-Based medicine, which enlivens the
inner intelligence located in the Marmas, and creates immediate balancing,
rejuvenating, and healing effects. It can be applied for self-treatment and for
treatment of others.
Dr Ernst Schrott is a trained medical doctor specializing in Maharishi
AyurVeda, naturopathy, and homeopathy; he is one of the most renowned Ayurveda
specialists in Germany and Europe. He is Vice-President of the German Society
of Ayurveda, Head of the German Academy of Ayurveda, and has taught many
courses and has written numerous articles and bestselling books on Maharishi
AyurVeda and the Transcendental Meditation programme.
