Please join us for the 14th Annual Children's Holiday Benefit Concert, Friday and Saturday nights, December 8 & 9, at 8:00PM, at Morning Star Studio on the east side of the Fairfield Square. There is certain to be abundant joy and laughter as well as outstanding music. All proceeds will benefit underprivileged children both locally and internationally. Joining me for this year's folk-rock concert are the ultra talented Michelle Mook (vocals), Greg Wadsworth (keyboard, guitar, vocals), Tim Duffy (guitar, keyboard, vocals), Tim Britton (flute, mandolin, egg, vocals), George Foster (bass, vocals), and Robert Reeder (djembe, vocals). The show's music again will feature a number of original folk-rock compositions, from heart touching ballads like "Pledged to Our Love" and "Jake's Song" to up-tempo favorites like "Tea Drinkin' Man," and "Glory Glory." Other originals will include "I Want to Be Like You," "I Am," "Mother Take Us There," "It's Time for Love," "Dancing in the Light," and "Holy Heart," all celebrating life on the spiritual path. The Proclaimers' "(I Would Walk) 500 Miles," and Bette Midler's "From A Distance" will be among the concert's covers.
