Amma does have diabetes. I don’t know what type. She eats typical Indian food, but also fish, for the protein. Not much sweets, although occasionally during darshan she’ll pop a sweet in her mouth that someone has offered, if she can do so before Geetha, her assistant, gets it away from her.
