by Joseph Campbell is to me out of all of his books my favorite. It seems like a good summation of his thought and impact. I've been enjoying Turquois' posts particularly the ever refreshing Dammapada quotes. Again Buddha reminds me of Jesus in that.............I wasn't there.........don't know what happened.........but someone was thinking out the box.
I always suggest everybody read Fritjof Capra's 'Tao of Physics'. Lots of easy to digest science and four chapters on Taoism, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Zen Buddhism where he draws parallels (nothing sensationalist....totally without wild eyed zeal) between these ancient bodies of thought and observations made by modern quantum physics. A good reminder that such things as Unified Field Theory existed before Hagelin "invented" them.
