Modern Pentacostal Christianity can be traced in its origin to the Azuza Street Revival, downtown L.A, 1906. The post WWII Evangelical Movement can likewise be dated to Billy Graham's tent revival in 1949, also in downtown L.A. These modern movements are still going strong and are gaining millions of followers in places like S. America and China.
