I've heard that Fairfield -- *not* Pic de Bugurach in France -- will be the location from which our Space Brothers will pick up the true and faithful on December 21, 2012 and whisk them away to safety in the skies before the Earth is destroyed.
The Independent, a well-regarded news journal from the UK, has reported that over 20,000 seekers have already visited Fairfield in the days since Oprah's show, and that 100,000 more are expected to visit and/or move there before the Apocalypse itself happens.
