I am enjoying your excellent reply (even though I don't know what a Neo-Advaitist is...). I agree that there are accompanying changes in the physiology as one grows towards a possible experience of enlightenment, AND that the perception as one approaches the possiblity of enlightenment is of a linear path; as you say, greater experiences of TC... BUT I hold to my perception that the subjective experience of enlightenment is completely non-linear, relative to the previous experience of almost-enlightenment. It easily transcends a logarithmic progression, or even a phase transition of any magnitude, as seen from the enlightened state looking backwards towards the almost-enlightened state. So from an enlightened state, the notion of reaching enlightenment is like reaching for a bag containing enlightenment, which turns into a zebra upon grasping it! ------------------------ Yahoo!
