I am enjoying your excellent reply (even though I don't know what a 
Neo-Advaitist is...). I agree that there are accompanying changes in 
the physiology as one grows towards a possible experience of 
enlightenment, AND that the perception as one approaches the 
possiblity of enlightenment is of a linear path; as you say, greater 
experiences of TC...

BUT I hold to my perception that the subjective experience of 
enlightenment is completely non-linear, relative to the previous 
experience of almost-enlightenment. It easily transcends a 
logarithmic progression, or even a phase transition of any 
magnitude, as seen from the enlightened state looking backwards 
towards the almost-enlightened state.

So from an enlightened state, the notion of reaching enlightenment 
is like reaching for a bag containing enlightenment, which turns 
into a zebra upon grasping it!
