Is there much talk in town of the book? Coffee house buzzing? Campus? Judith going to be lecturing in town anytime soon? Word from Purusha or MD? The rajas? Vedic City? The Domes? Are other women working on books? A book on Bevan and John exploits might present a rounder picture. Any widely published book reviews? What would be the fallout if this became a widely read "cult" classic -- not just read by TMOers, but the wider spiritual, neo-Ad, yoga, gurun, satsang world community? Christian groups "We told you so! The devil himself!". India reaction? Other groups (Art of Living, Amma, Gangaji, Cohen, etc0 -- buzz and speculation? Any Catholic groups commenting (a certain sense of kinship within the catholic clergy?) Any badgeless folks feeling smug? Donors reaction? The new MUM board members - the seemingly new to the fold ones? David Lynch? The TMO PR machine? Or is the book having a big collective yawn, old news, type reaction? I think she's only sold 50-60 copies so far, 10 of which were ordered by a guy in FF, but they haven't arrived yet. So I don't think anyone here has read it yet. "Buck" is more tuned in to the word on the street than I am, so maybe he'll hear something and comment. As will I if I hear anything. But so far I haven't.
