HEALTH: QUOTE Of The DAY
Doctors say that about 80% of all illnesses in hospitals are either due to
the mind or that the mind is affecting the recovery of the patient. They know
that the way you think determines whether or not you get well quickly. There
have been many recorded instances in which the mental attitude of the patient
determined whether he lived or died.
On the other hand, the mind itself is affected by the body. It is
impossible to have a sound mind in a diseased, unhealthy body. We would all
realize that when we are afflicted even with a small thing like a cold or a
headache our judgment and personality are affected. We should make adjustments
in our thinking accordingly.
