I too have been having problems with the HP rule. I've tried Phillips suggestion but can not get a consistent working rule. The bummer part of Geoffs suggestion to create a rule for each content type ... at least for me is 1. I have more than a handful of custom types, and 2. I have cases where

It might be some sort of db constraint you have in place, like an index. Personally I'd look at just dropping hand picked and writing a specific rule for the individual content types you want to have listed. Rules plus fapi.getcontentobjects are about the tastiest customization you can make. Would
