the same problem here (FarsiWeb) with our WinXP machine; and the
only Persian font (without microsoft's fonts) is our Koodak (alpha
version).
You could uninstall new updates or wait for our unicode-compatible fonts.
(10 fonts of parsa.zip). :)

Gnome are all correct in this field.
You can use Microsoft Office 2003 and it's updated fonts to see this as
you like! ;)

It's not redhat or kwrite problem. Your file is *correct*.
The problem is in windows and ie, and it's cause of your font. There is
no glyph for "ARABIC KEHEH" and "ARABIC FARSI YEH" if your font, so ie put
az "
Space doesn't work; you should use Shift-B for ZWNJ.
Newbie Instruction:
- Copy these two files to /usr/share/vim/vim6x/keymap/
- Use
:set keymap=persian
in Vim command mode, or append it to ~/.vimrc

as INITIAL form.
