Dear List Members,
Salaam,

Pop-Up Dictionary 4.0, downloadable from www.popdict.com, is now
Unicode-compatible and ready to support Unicoded Farsi and many other
languages -- thanks to Artyom Lukanin of Ice-LC Software
(www.Ice-LC.com) who created this fine piece of software.

Comprehensive English-Farsi and Farsi-English Unicode dictionaries can
be downloaded from http://www.popdict.com/dict_farsi.shtml. These
dictionaries were converted from on- and offline sources, and I assume
that the data as such can be considered public domain. However, if any
List Member knows of restrictions that may apply, please let me know.

Also welcome are corrigenda, suggestions for improvement, and additional
materials that can be used to add new terminology to the existing
wordstock, such as technical or legal terms.

Best regards,

Peter E. Hauer
