i just wanted to introduce myself as a i will be reading posts in this mailing 
list. Im a 35 yeras old freelance java developer from germany and i will work 
at FIZ Karlsruhe for next couple of months. FIZ Karlsruhe has implemented 
eSciDoc on top of fedora commons.
 I'm atm evaluating solutions to distribute eSciDoc over multiple nodes in 
order to create a horizontically scalable digital preservation system and am 
therefore interested any scalability issues that arise with using fedora 
commons as a repository.
 I stumbled over the following presentation and wanted to ask if there was any 
progress in marrying multiple fedora instances with a distributed filesystem:
