If I reboot the laptop after the keyboard starts
working, it continues to work.
I think this is a mechanical heat issue. I'm going
to open it up and reseat the keyboard connector, and
attempt to swap it out too.

I've googled a bit and in the past your laptop model have been not working
properly for a lot of people, especially ubuntu users. Maybe there is still
some issues to polish related to keyboard mapping, a
