just a note on the side,
rh7 is really starting to show it's age,
when running ./configure for the new php 4.4.5 i got some errors like:
test: unary operator expected
not reallly
why don't you just ask the author of rkhunter to update the hashes for these
packges?
i think i did once and it was fixed within a few days.

i did install the first package too and after restarting it gave some errors
which were easily fixed by adding a few settings to the old mc file and
rebuilding the cf file from it.
can anybody advise me on what steps to take in order to have the second
package install without to many

i installed the first sendmail fix (22.9) on a redhat 7.3 system last week
without noticing any problems since.
would you guys still advice me to also update to the newly updated sendmail
