All,
This may be a dumb question, but I noticed that with my upgrade to FC10,
the login page no longer allows me to login as root. I'm sure this is a
feature, but the question is, how does one login as root these days? I
can still su to root in a command window, no problem.
TIA,
Herb

my 64bit OS. Skype works fine.
But i have used on Fedora 10 i386 version, qgktstyle which made qt

Actually, I'd like to be able to do so
The following comes up by PackageKit:
Error Type:
Error Value: Error parsing '5 # was 3': invalid integer value
File : /usr/share/PackageKit/helpers/yum/yumBackend.py, line 2314, in
main()

I am sorry, but why does this happens? Sometimes i will install other
applications as well too, and there is icon missing.
If I will check /usr/share/icons/hicolor .. there is
avant-window-navigator icon. So why is not used? Even if in launcher
as icon is set avant-window-navigator.
Thanks,
David
Hello guys
I've just installed avant-window-navigator on my fresh F10 install. It
works, but there is no icon for launcher assigned in Accessories menu.
What is wrong?
Thanks,
David

Hi all,
I'm new to the list,
thus any info/suggestions are pretty appreciated,
thank you. :D
What I'm going to do is to (manually) create a bootable loop-mounted fedora,
just like the wubi version of ubuntu.
Now here comes the question:
What steps should I take to achieve this goal?
e.g.:
