incomplete shutdown

I recently installed Fedora 10, however the system says that it's shutdown completely but the power doesn't go off, I have to flip the swithc in the back to turn it off. I've run into "restart" not restarting, and having to hit the restart switch before, but an incomplete shutdown's more of a h
