I have F11 machine which shares WEB to small home wired network. F11
computer has 3 ethernet adapters - one built in motherboard (eth0,
'main' adapter) and two additional cards (eth1,2). With grate help of
this list and even greater help of google I was able to set up NAT over

Does anyone know how to create a non-resizable gnome-terminal? The --geometry
parameter allows me to set the initial size of the terminal but it can still be
resized afterward.

My wife has a Dell set up as a dual boot with Fedora 6 and Windows XP.
Over the weekend a shutdown attempt went awry and something got
corrupted on her machine. Neither Fedora or Windows would boot. Fedora
would get past GRUB, but hang at the second step in the detailed boot

I've installed a new F11 server, w/OpenLDAP. Users access an lvm/ext4 volume
via netatalk & samba. Selinux is permissive.
Some users were getting "sharing violation" or "disk full" for afp and smb
respectively on some existing files, though 2.2TB are free and new files were

i have just installed a fedora 11 laptop.
but when i got the login screen
i don't get any keybord session or window mamanger menu in the down bar
i only have the accessibility menu and the clock.
does someone know how to solve that problem?
i use gdm-2.26.1-13.fc11.i586
