GPU so I haven't been running with desktop effects.
Anyone have any suggestions as to how to get transparency and still have
the gpu temp idle at a low temp (around 50C, where it is now)?

I have a Dell D830, with F10 fully up-to-date. The kernel update of
two days ago (2.6.27.9-159.fc10) has broken audio on this machine.
If I reboot on the previous kernel, 2.6.27.7-134.fc10, audio works
like a charm. With the new kernel everything works
aults: checking every hour, and automatically apply security updates.
Anyone else seeing the same behavior or have any suggestions?

Yeah, I've been experiencing the same thing with a 4965 chip and several
different wireless networks, wep, wpa and unencrypted. I have similar

I have a iwl4965 chip and the kernel release previous to -76 would lock
up when attempting to connect to a WEP network, although it worked
alright for WPA2. The -76 kernel is working fine, however.

Does this mean that it would work with Fedora 9 without having to
