Has anyone else seen the following issue? After doing a
long delayed yum update on Fedora 8, we are now finding
that the Gnome dock no longer condenses icons in it. Prior
to that update, after a certain number of entries in the
dock, the windows for the same program would be overlaid
so that
Doh! The problem appears to be that someone broke off
the plastic sheath that covers the top of the contacts
on that usb port. Without that tab of plastic, usb plugs
apparently can short across the free standing contacts.

Is there decent support in Fedora 9 for printing to
Bonjour printers? I understand that avahi is supposed
to provide that functionality. However the HJ Deskjet
I have attached to an Apple Airport Extreme basestation
via usb and exposed as a Bonjour printer doesn't show
up in the Printer setup
I was able to connect to the Bonjour printer after enabling the mDNS
access on the firewall and installing the missing avahi-tools package. Hopefully
this package can be installed by default in Fedora 10 and later to limit the
effort required to getting Bonjour access working.

occasion the wireless connection will drop and the NetworkManager
will attempt to reconnect to the wireless network. However
