I performed a successful F11 to F12 upgrade by following the instructions from:

Time consuming, but completly successful.

Well done for trashing Windows 7 and replacing it with F11. You are
moving in the right direction.
Haven't seen a Linux virus yet.

One trick I do is to isolate the install to a directory.
When you run:
> $ ./configure
add --PREFIX={directory}
It looks like this (for example):
./configure --PREFIX=/home/abc/python3
When you run 'make install', everything gets installed into this
directory.

It allowed me to set up my webcam and audio.
It was call something like multimedia-selector???
If someone knows the program I am talking about, can someone let me know the
name of it.

I always thought swap space should 1 1/2 times the amount of physical memory.
If you start thrashing swap space you should buy more physical memory and fix
your programs that might have a memory leak or not release memory properly
after completing.

I was only getting 800x600 on my screen and I needed to make it 1280x1024.
I had to use system-config-display. Xorg -configure did not work. I got an
error message. The low resolution was probably because I am using a KVM.

I will set up a bugzilla bug for this.
