Working around this is kinda didactic :)

And then you'll need one. Once (trying emacs) was enough for me.
There's one thing worse than vi, and that's emacs. ;-)
And vice-versa :)

One man’s theology is another man’s
to move into the modern
html world - which I need for business. I was advised by the developers
that I should use text mail for all purposes and the world was wrong -
and the devs knew what was best.
And they did know best.

Luck!
KDE users use K3B.
Hell. Even Gnome users use K3B. I changed to Gnome some months ago and I
can't let go of many KDE apps, K3B has no rival (the other apps are, if
you want to know, amarok, digikam and gwenview).

There's a much easier way. Well, you don't really relink the inode
and redo all of the
old mistakes that were already fixed and issue a new version?
They are like you imagine. Versions are more like checkpoints for new
installers.

That should be mount -r rw,remount
And THAT should be mount -o rw,remount /
LOL! I second your howto. It works everywhere and there's not a change
of a runlevel 1 password. It comes natural after a while...
