hmm I don't want to change the repo files, prefer to leave them at its
default state and jus have yum do that for me. At least I don't have to do
that with up2date so I'm looking for a similar behaviour.

hello:
had a quick question. Is there a way to check/install updates from a
specific repo through yum. So say I have fedora, livna and atrpms repos on
my box, would like to install /update only from fedora. So for example,
up2date has a way of getting updates from a specific channel i.e up2date

Has anyone noticed this on fedora-9. I use vpnc and it drops my network
connection every few minutes of inactivity. I'll have to restart my network
and reconnect through vpnc again.
Any suggestions/ alternatives appreciated!

if I remove */Packages/* from url i can download package from the
browser
http://ftp.linux.ncsu.edu/pub/fedora/linux/updates/9/i386/sonata-1.5.1-1.fc9.i386.rpm
So looks like the constructed url should not have Packages but somehow it
does.
Any thoughts?

Hello:
yum keeps erroring out with a 404 not found for most package installs. Below
is the example. It tries a bunch of em and ends with "No more mirrors to
try". Is this a konwn bug? or do I need to fix something in my .repo files?
Thanks,
