I've got a question about a pestering hardware issue.
My PC has a Axion Sapphire A3-M275 motherboard (chipset Ati3 + Ali 1535D). I
added a 1GB DDR1 Ram slot (by Kingston) to the native 256 MB DDR1 Ram.
The new slot is not recognize at the boot phase.
The real strange point is

I solved the problem. The message lighted me was no network connection. device
is unmanaged.
I did the following:
-) right-click on the network icon on your top-right bar.
-) ensure to have marked enable network manager
-) edit a new connection, putting your MAC address in.
I added the line about proxy in my /etc/yum.conf
but with no result.
I also want to say that I inserted the info about the proxy in my .bash_profile
as,
#yum
export http_proxy=http://:; [1]
I also inform you that if I run:
nm-tool
I got as reply :

I have a Fedora 9 distr.
I've lot of problem with SELinux, so I want to know how to get rid of it. In
particular I am interested NOT in make SELinux status Disabled but to
uninstall it.
I am not sure how to do it, also because I just started working with Linux OS.
