The recent mesa/glx-utils update has sped up glxgears from about 500-600 fps
using indirect rendering to 3200 fps. Previously glxgears didn't recognize my
card's id (71d2/71f2), so it might not have really been a big change in the
code. But it is still nice to see support for ATI cards improving. T
Updated to 1.3 mesa 7.0.3 and glxgears gives me only 1924 FPS on my
RV350AP (Radeon 9600), can't tell it's x6 times better but well, at
least something
