Frontline has never worked for me, not in FL, not in SC. I use Advantage and Capstar. Outdoors the cats have a better chance. Fleas don't stay on an animal (or person), so outside they drop off and the host moves away. Inside, the flea can re-infest the same poor cat (or dog)over and over.
