Thanks Kat, that clarifies a lot for me. It makes perfect sense to stay calm and not send out frantic energy to an animal that's already scared out of it's wits, but not so easy for me to do. I find when one of my own goes "missing", if I stay calm, I have a much better chance of being direct

Welcome to the list, Kat!  How so exciting to have you on board! I enjoyed learning about your family very much!  I too rescue cats and dogs – right now, I am owned by over 50 plus cats and 4 dogs – (I know it sounds like a nut to have so many) – just that 90% of the cats I rescued were ve
