Karen,You have my heartfelt sympathies regarding Angel. It makes me so sad that you are both going through this. I have wanted to start a prayer list on my website and I will put your Angel's name there if you would like. Anyone else who would like their kitty's name on a prayer list, please let

Karen, I'm so sorry to hear that your sweet baby is not doing well. You are in my thoughts and prayers...especially as you make decisions in the near future. Angel knows how much you love her and she is lucky to have such a great mom!!! Hang in there! MJBarb Moermond <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> w
Oh Karen, sending GLOW to you and Angel for calm and strength and peace so you are able to help Angel appropriately, whatever route that is.kandbz_ mom <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:Well, Angel's "hip" problem turned out to not be her hip. The vet felt a big, swollen bump near her bottom and tail.
Oh Karen how awful! Did the vet give you something for the pain? I'm
sorry that I haven't been keeping up with the list, but this last post
of your's is just heartbreaking. No being should have to go through
this, but you're right a 5 mos old baby having to endure it is so very
hard to bear.
Oh Karen. I am so sorry. Love and prayers for you and
Angel.

Phaewryn, That is my thought, exactly. I would love to keep her alive with me but I want what is best for her. The vet said she may not even be able to go to the bathroom by herself..that I may have to pick her up and put her in the litterbox and then take her out-for the rest of her life. He
Karen, I'm so sorry that Angel isn't doing well. I know
you'll do the best you can for her. Hugs to you both.

Cancer in that area doesn't have a good outcome often, as it interferes
with elimination. If she's in pain, and you vet comes back with positive results
for cancer, I'd consider euthanasia. You can fight it, but if she is in that
much pain.. do you really want to prolong it?

Karen,
I'm so sorry you're going through so much with Angel. Nothing I can say will make it better but please know we are all thinking of you in this difficult time.

Karen, you are in my thoughts and prayers, but I recommend you take her to
a specialist at least once, for diagnosis. Your vet might be right, or he might
be wrong. A bad vet said my horse Shire had a cancerous tumor on his neck
when I was young and that he needed to be euthanized before it
oh, i'm so sorry, karen--how heartbreaking for both of you.
talk to her, and really listen--she will tell you if she wants you to continue to treat her or to just love her until it's her time to go on
