[FFmpeg-user] -c:v or -vcodec copy or -codec:v

Hi, I have a pretty simple question. I am recording video via 'raspivid' and sending it to FFMPEG to stream to the internet. At the settings 750Kbps, 15FPS, 720P (specified in both raspivid and FFMPEG) I get reliable performance. If I bump the bitrate to 1Mbps in both raspivid and FFMPEG, then

[FFmpeg-user] Is FATE testing video encoders?

Hi, I have a doubt regarding ffmpeg FATE. I have downloaded the fate sample suite. Inside the sample suite i found only .bit files inside the hevc-conformance/ folder. I checked the hevc.mak file inside tests/fate/ directory. Here, it is checking only hevc decoder. It is decoding the .bit samples
