Yes its an ONVIF camera. I know that it can produce single JPEG
pictures, but as i saw in the camera settings, its on sub channel which
settings offers only 640*480 MJPEG picture, so i passed this. But now i
did a try, and i'm now surprised, because

I have found an on-line site where they offer viewiong in real time of various
news channels. However, I need to record the streaming video nightly so I can
view USA nightly shows the following morning.
I have started similar threads like this specificly targeting MSNBC news shows

Hi!
Maybe authentication takes so long? Try to keep the stream open, eg with
VLC.
