But the ending result has the same number of frames as the original video
file (although smaller file size).
When using mpdecimate with setpts, the ending result has indeed smaller
frame count and smaller file
width and height of avcodeccontext before calling avcodec_open2 is 0, 1280
(so I guess the problem is somewhere before avcodec_open2?)

After calling avcodec_open2, the codec context width is 6 and height is
1280 while the right width should have been 960

Is it possible to use custom AVIOContext with RTMP?
