command line option to do the same thing. I'll keep digging through the docs.

Without knowing which camera, it's all a bit of a guess but this seems like
an issue with a lot of cameras/drivers. Logitech is famous for not saving
the settings, they even call it a feature. And there might be some "helpful"
software that comes with the camera running in the background
