I received a box of 35mm transparencies back from processing and after
scanning, I noticed a grainy effect throughout all the slides in the box.
Here is a very small snippet taken from a Photoshop screen at actual
pixels magnification. The film is Fujichrome Provia 100F. Processing was

Your tutorial is fine but I simply use a pair of scissors to cut off the top
of the mount about 1/4 inch down then peel the two halves apart to extract
the slide. Fast and simple.

DustScratch Remover.
I guess it must be a processing problem. I've had nice results with Provia
100F in the past.

tweezers on the emulsion to break the tack makes me unnecessarily nervous.
