Art, The mainboard (Gigabyte GA-7VAXP) was new last January and has a KT400 (PAC) and VT8235 (PSIPC) chipsets. Unfortunately, they are VIA chipsets. I almost did not buy this mainboard because it had VIA chipsets but, in talking to AMD, an engineer there said that this was a good mainboard and
