I use also the Microtek 5 wizard software and SilverFast 5.5; maybe is one of them who
create conflict? Is Vuescan running and needs special extensions? Do I need to keep
loaded specific Microtek extensions as well? OR Vuescan can also operate without
almost any extension?

maybe I am drunk or I keep asking you silly questions, but it appears that now the
software works under Mac OS 9.2.1 and firewire connection; I try with the Microtek
8700 and a Silver G4 and the software is still not see/recognize the scanner; how
come???

Hello, I am looking for the best 4 shoot digital camera back; I guess today the 3
major players are Megavision, Imacon and PhaseOne.
I heard that basically the CCD is the same for all of them and each one claims the
best and easy to use software; I saw the demo of the Imacon 3020 and 4040
Be aware about the scanner voltage 110/220; be aware that also some local
representatives will NOT recognize the warranty and you will have to shop the scanner
somewhere else if you have later on a technical problem (ceck this locally first!).
I am located in Italy and I saw this kind of
running the software I could not have it working at
all with the scanner; I do not think it see it! Maybe it is an
issue between firewire and USB ???

For the best, no question, Barco is THE best!!!

slide and my chromes look ok; The problem is when I have to scan very
old slides, dated back in the 1940' and 1950; the have major color
