I am getting Newton rings in my scanning with my Minolta Dimage scanner. Of
course this is with the glass negative carrier for medium format. I have
heard of a way to prevent this but have forgotten how. Can anyone help?

on the current crop of scanners. What do you recommend in the $1500 USD or
less range?

Yesterday while printing with my Epson Photo EX the printer started
printing black lines across the print into the margin on the paper. In
about three years with this printer I have never encountered this problem
before.
Any suggestions?
