Ed, You replied: Can the whole directory be moved to another drive? Yes. Is the code specifically aware of the c: drive? No. How will an update affect this: Will it only overwrite a folder on the C drive if it is named C:\Vuescan? Will it ignore any renamed folder ? regards, John
