I did have a Minolta Multi, the predecessor of Multi II. I was satisfied

the Multi which I mostly used with Ed Hamricks Vuescan. I was never really
satisfied with Minolta's own software.

It's very nice of Nikon that they announced new scanners, although a bit too
early IMO, especially because the new scanners don't seems to address
currents issues with Nikon scanners.

How to set VueScan so that it doesn't change color of scans when I go
through the whole film of images of similar type? (transparency)
I cannot fing any lock color balance button in VueScan.
I'm scanning in Color/Color Balance/White
When I scan my negatives with VueScan and NikonLS-4000ED (stage photography)
I notice that the extreme highlights are always blue despite the fact that
the whole picture has proper color balance. I set the white point so that
nothing gets clipped, in Photoshop I can still see light blue color
What is the best way to scan panoramic negatives (24x58mm from Horizon
camera) with Nikon LS-4000ED? When combining two halves of the frame in
Photoshop it's important to get exactly the same exposure and color. Does
anybody know how?

What color spaces is best to choose for the following purposes:
- printed material, for example a magazine or a photographic book
- stock photography (image bank)
- inkjet
I want to scan my images in the most appropriate color space for the purpose
but don't want to use some exotic ones. I'd
, Internet retailers and wholesalers.

thought about the Nikon LS4000 + strip film adapter but this is a
very expensive alternative, too close in price to the MF minolta.
