I used to do this, but nowadays there are just too many and I got fed up with people responding asking for help removing the damn things or taking offence at being 'accused' of distributing viruses. The risks are widely known, decent free AV s/w is available from avg.com or cheaply from Norton etc. It's not a problem unless someone ignores all the advice, and I expect them to ignore me too.
