different kinds of user practicing quite different workflows.

biases. I find your description to be word perfect for many scanner
drivers but I didn't

I agree completely. SilverFast is a nice product, and the engineers

Do you have any suggestions for improving VueScan? I'm always
interested in people's suggestions, especially from people who have
tried it and don't like it.
None that I would care to share or advise you of on this list. My earlier
message was not intended to be critical of Vuescan

This list has a purpose and those who ask questions tend to do for a reason.
Some (not many) will answer those questions with an alternate agenda. For
the most part I think your posts are designed for no other purpose than to
