Hi! I always use autoexposure on my Minolta Scanners. 16 bit linear mode has gamma set to 1.0, which would be giving dark results. That can be fixed using photoshop and setting gamma to 2.2 (or so). Exposure can be controlled by levels dialog in the scanner software. Regards Erik Onsön, 05 n
