Of the things listed below as noteworthy upgrades, the following are not
upgrades per se since they are also found in the original Minolta Scan Multi
software:
Exposure control... You can window a specific area on the film for
determination of exposure..lock in the exposure and then scan the entire
image with that exposure setting.

Your Multi will do everything a Multi II will do as noted in the specs
for the Multi II.
A few noteworthy upgrades.
Single pass multiscanning
Exposure control... You can window a specific area on the film for
determination of exposure..lock in the exposure and then scan the entire
image with that exposure setting.
The ability to scan a 25 mm? strip of MF film at 2820 dpi.
GEM (grain reduction) works great on portraits.
ROC (restoration of color)..haven't played with it yet.
