I have an extended service agreement from Polaroid for my SS4000. I
needed to use it and basically it worked OK. I got the higher-priced
agreement that gets me a loaner scanner while they worked on mine, and
I'm glad I did -- it took nearly three weeks from the time I shipped my
scanner to them un

there to be photographed.

working on the image in Photoshop (you have 3 color channels available, it's
more or less like having the same B&W picture shot with 3 different color
filters).
