I had ME and 2000 on a dual boot and I was able to get my scanner to work in
2000 with much screwing around.
I have migrated to just 2000 and now I am unable for the life of me to get
it to work. I have the correct SCSI drivers and the newest software from the
Canon Site and followed instructi
Make sure you have the correct ASPI driver installed for your SCSI
controller. This has happened to one gentleman on this list I think.
Once he had the ASPI driver installed he scanner works. If you have
Adaptec controller you may down load it free from Adaptec.

What exactly are you getting for an error message when starting you
scanning software? If you have ViewScan installed, is it seeing the
scanner? The problem I had concerned a Polaroid SprintScan not being
recognized by Win2K, with a specific set of error messages. Post your error
