I just read about Win4Lin 4.0 at www.netraverse.com. It purports to be a
way to run WinDoze under Linux. In the past, such emulators (VMWare, etc.)
have been unable to handle all the MIDI requirements of Finale (etc.).
My question: Does anyone know if Win4Lin can support Finale for Windows?

The instrument lists are simply text files that one can edit;
however, there is a tripartite structure which must be followed in
order for FINALE to interact with the text files. Ther must be a
simpler way to do this, but I haven't been able to find it;-)

Pardon me for asking what should be a simple question - BUT:
One of my theory teachers once told me the three most common intervals of
root movement in chord progressions. I know I ought to be able to figure
this out through reasoning and other thought processes, but I think it's one
