hello mr. lew,
mmm... check boulez's 'le marteau sans maitre'. there are some fractional

hello list,
i'm a new subscriber. i need some advice or guidance with this: i'm
transcribing a piece which uses odd time signatures as 2/3 crotchets (yes,
two thirds). i cannot see any way to do it although i've tried some
work-arounds using the shape designer and setting 0.66/4 in the

Also, in Speedy, one can make the current note the end of a tie (in
FinWin2k3) by hitting Ctrl and =, merely a modification of "=" which makes
the note start a tie. However, I believe that this is just a shortcut to
checking "Tie End" in the Edit Frame box.

Once they are attached, you can edit them, which includes dragging the
ending points, the arcs, etc., so you can place one as a slur from the
last note of the first ending to the first note of the second ending,
and then drag the part attached to the first note to where it is up in
the air and

I thought slurs have to attach to something.

I have a file that has lots of 16th with two repeating notes in the middle,
ie
a'f'f'a'a'f'f'a'
Now the composer wants to change this into a triplet figure, leaving out one

Is there a way to do this quickly, or do I have to delete one of the notes,

suggestions, beware of using your AOL address for e-mail attachments--I have
had no luck receiving Finale files at mine. According to my friend Mike
