Hi,
I am getting some lines in one of my documents and I can't get rid of them.
I have ten songs (all separate files) which I export as graphics in order to
load them into a pagemaker file. They all worked fine in the beginning and
all but one are still fine. However, one file has lines near

Hi all--
I sent this to some associates of mine this a.m., and after seeing Phil
Daley's posting about the Hollings bill thought I'd pass it along
(edited for personal content)
to see the bill go to: http://thomas.loc.gov/ and enter HR 5522 in the first
search box.

worked around. If you switch applications and back to Finale, the window
draws correctly, and you can access the widgets. I find myself clicking
elsewhere on the desktop and back on the Finale window, or if there is no

Hi:
When I have two files open simultaneously, their menu bars often grey
out, and selecting one of them under the Window menu to bring it to the
front does not work. In what may be related, sometimes when I open a
file and then open a second file, the first is close

What is the easiest (and quickest) way to put a melodic line in cued notes an
octave higher or lower with the original notes?
Also - are there any good visual references for jazz drum set parts?
I usually have trouble with stems in the inner parts.

How can I align the notes all at once? They are too close to the left
barline in each measure. I have been having to move each note
separately in speedy entry? Any help would sure be appreciated.

I'm doing a piece in 6/8 which is full of dotted quarters and uses two
voices throughout (which I'm doing as layers, not "voices").
Where the two voices are a second apart and the lower notehead is on a
line, of course I want the dot to be adjusted downward on the lower voice.
Therefore, I've che
