I'd say the easiest way is to get the PDF back into a postscript file. Whether or not this is easy is another issue... there must be software out there that does this, since PDF is nothing other than a different form of the same postscript info. No, you can't. What you can do is to create a line with 5 bars and then apply a blank notation staff style that also has no staff lines to the measure you added between two normal measures, which is empty and where you want the text. Or you can create your music with two measures on one line a
