If you want a perfect playback AND normal notation in Finale, you should seriously consider using a sequencing program such as Cakewalk or MasterTracks or PowerTracks to record the midi performance, then import this midi file into Finale and neaten it up to show as notation. Then when you pla

Crystal, I've not seen a case where a complex midi piano performance can be easily converted to notation. There are just too many notation conventions that need to be edited in for it to be any kind of a time savings. Arpeggiations will be written as note tied to note for the duration of the
